Getting Started
There are just a few steps to getting involved in E.D.D.I.:
1. Download the E.D.D.I. data entry spreadsheet, instructions and samples. (Click on each file and choose "Save As" when prompted.)
2. Complete the E.D.D.I. Template
- Read the Getting Started Guide for suggestions on how to begin
- Refer to the Sample Template and Data Dictionary for guidance
- Select up to two images (jpg or gif format) for use on E.D.D.I.
3. Submit the E.D.D.I. Template
- Send the template and up to two images (jpg or gif format) to eddi@cerc.com
4. Receive acknowledgement of your submission from CERC
- Within one week of sending your template, you will receive email verification from CERC that the template was received.
- This email will include information on setting up a link to your town's information on E.D.D.I. and will provide an expected date on which your data will be available online to E.D.D.I. users.
5. Set up a link to E.D.D.I. on your website - see the Getting Started Guide.
6. Periodically update and enhance your data
- Make changes to your most recent version of your template (You do not need to start from scratch - use the template you have already filled out.)
- Resubmit the template
